WHO WE ARE
NorthSky was founded by two friends, Tom Harrison and Tom Pannell. With a combined 30-years working in healthcare and product manufacturing they have extensive experience running commercial businesses. They saw a flaw in the design studio model, where not enough consideration was given to design for manufacturing and delivering commercally viable products.
Their guiding principle is design as a commercial function. Like sales or marketing, it is a vital part of your business that generates innovative new products and long-term revenue. NorthSky will develop concepts or refresh product ranges as quickly as possible and get them to market.
Over the years they have established a fantastic network of contacts in the UK R&D space. Working with the likes of Innovate UK, the NHS, universities and private investors to develop and manufacture innovative ergonomic, healthcare and medical products.
They also have great relationships with manufacturers globally, regularly travelling within Europe, Asia and North America. They believe that in-person meetings, visiting suppliers and checking conformity allows them to deliver the best quality products for their customers.
